From the brink of disaster to a ray of hope for Shiven U 18s. Trailing 4-0 early in the second half in the 1st leg of the Premier Cup semi-final, it looked a lost cause for the Shiven men, but 2 late goals gives us a chance in the 2nd leg next Saturday in Shiven.

Despite playing well early on, a few costly mistakes in defence had us 3-0 down at half time. Shiven started the second half much stronger, but against the run of play, CP scored with a long range shot to go 4 up. Shiven created a lot of chances before James Mulrooney and Josh Lane scored. We had other good chances in the last few minutes but just couldn’t find the target.

Team Jack Crehan, Ciaran Browne, Ryan Mannion, Conor McDonald, Jack Gavin, Owen Browne, Hughie Daly, Daragh Nolan, James Mulrooney, Rory Cunningham, Josh Lane.
